If you want people to talk to you, you’re going to have to smile. No one wants to talk to a grouchy person.
Make it easy for people to approach you by having a smile on your face and you’ll increase your influence just by being pleasant.
It sounds too easy, doesn’t it? Almost a no brainer right?
And yet, not enough people realize they’re taking themselves out of potential networking and relationship building opportunities by scowling, looking disinterested or generally being ticked off at the world. You can’t control who talks to you, but you certainly can make it easier for people to want to talk to you. Smile!
